The Polish army officer who a couple of weeks ago said Ukr losses were in the millions was correct, this correlates with leaked Pentagon data. The Ukr army has lost over 500,000 dead and 3 times that many seriously wounded. An entire generation of men wiped out, it won't matter that half the country will be lost, the demographics will never recover anyway.

Zelensky announced the dissolving of 2 brigades as punishment, he told the Ukrainian people one of the brigades had 9 soldiers desert but the actual number was closer to 200. They had requested evac from an impossible situation and were told no so they just walked over to the other side. No report yet on the numbers involved in the other brigade.
Meanwhile, the Azov brigade (renamed the 3rd), in Avdeevka where they were ordered to reinforce Ukr positions they took one look and decided to go away again, this time ordered to reinforce Chasiv Yah they just said no right off. They are one of Ukr army's premier brigades so be interesting to see what happens next.
Russia has just announced a new 'force' entering the fray in the Kharkiv direction. They used the term 'force' to disguise the numbers involved but likely to be many brigades constituting a new army. Ukraine has no choice but to take troops out of the line to go and face them.

Ukr army chief to dissolve Azov brigade. Expected announcement today could cause fireworks. As said yesterday the Azov brigade (renamed the Third Assault Brigade) refused an order to reinforce Chasiv Yah and is expected to be ordered to be dissolved in disgrace as were 2 other brigades yesterday.
But this is the brigade that threatened Zelensky's life, on camera, when he told them he was going to order them to leave Donbas after he won the 2019 election on a peace platform.
We could be about to see the Ukraine army turn in on itself.
