Rus Lavrov's reaction to Macron's threat to send French troops to Ukraine;

Macron's new defence budget to ramp up spending to $400 billion over 4 years. 60% to go towards nuclear deterrent. New aircraft carriers but not more men or tanks. Many of the plans have decades long completion dates so not much use right now.

Same as all European countries over recent decades defence spending as a percentage of GDP down from 5.4% in 1960 to just 1.8% today.

This is why Europe's constant escalations in the conflict have all been just a bluff. The UK is currently not able to provide a force of much more than 10,000 able to go right now which at Russia's current kill rate would last about 10 days.

The only Schwab that I'm aware of is the parent company of TD Ameritrade.
