43Thanks it's a good thing they tightened the platform's availability a few years ago. Do you think it's helped clean up Metaquotes's image? Or was it a bit too lateStarfish wrote: Tue Apr 02, 2024 8:24 am Looks like Meta quotes is upping their integrity

Re: Are brokers moving away from MT4 and MT5?
46I say it's 100% beneficial and ethical. In the past, MT4 broker-dealers such as IG US LLC have been allowed to hack MT4 so that swaps are totally omitted. Forex.com US hacked swaps out of the symbols info and into a tab that doesn't even exist in Metaquotes' real MT4.
Also... with a frequently updating MT5 that natively supports machine learning and Python, and everything else via custom DLL's; I suspect that there's no need to hack Metaquotes' real MT5.
“[A]s we know, there are known knowns—there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns—that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don’t know we don’t know.”—Donald Rumsfeld, 2002
