Not a surprise, local medias are presenting weekly similar cases :/
The feeling that I have is that the main Head of this pyramid is living happily in an island with all the funds and the smart IT guy has to take the blame. Not that he is innocent but the rest also have to accountable for the fraud.
Re: Developer of Russian Forex pyramid website faces 10 years in prison
2At least the police caught someone. In so many of these cases the fraudsters manage to slip away before people realize they've been conned.

3Most likely the person ho took all of the clients money are far away from there - with sure. Now someone who has being paid something will take the first impacts for temporary period of time, before to disclose more details.
Re: Developer of Russian Forex pyramid website faces 10 years in prison
4You are right guys, it´s a good think that at least one of the fraudsters was detained, nevertheless the other perpetrators got away with it

5Maybe if this one talks the police will catch the rest. You never know.
Re: Developer of Russian Forex pyramid website faces 10 years in prison
6I guess, they defrauded the wrong person, e.g. the son of a politician lost half or all of his money, most likely due to bad skills (so or so it would be lost). Or he hasn't engaged a higher politician. Otherwise noone has little interest in the subject in Russia. Now the Police can say they did something good. Don't misunderstand me, it's good that they eliminated the pyramid, of course, but in Russia the clocks run differently.

8Maybe the cops caught someone low on the chain and he talked.

9This is Russia, not the EU or Northern America. You don't go as bad guy to the police and hope for better conditions when you tell them something. You were a traitor, so the police will beat you up and all the prisoners will do. You better say only one word once: Нет!mlawson71 wrote: Fri Jun 23, 2017 8:13 pm Maybe the cops caught someone low on the chain and he talked.
Re: Developer of Russian Forex pyramid website faces 10 years in prison
10That really depends on how much they pressured the traitor to talk. If he even exists. Either way, they did catch some of the scammers.
